The Cottelsloe Cup is an annual match between the Under 13 mixed teams of the Beaumaris Sharks and the Cottesloe Magpies (WA) – held at Shark Park.

The Magpies have been visiting us for 20 years after a former junior president Ron Nicholson was approached by the league of the time to host a team from WA. The boys (and we are hoping girls in the future) love coming over for the game and then make use of a WA long weekend to stay in Melbourne and go to some AFL games.

Coincidently our long serving and recently retired Director of Junior Football, Stephen Nash is a talent scout for the West Coast Eagles and our former Beaumaris Senior Men’s Coach Guy McKenna was a West Coast Eagles Champion and Club Captain.
