We have some exciting news for the girls football program.
For the first time the SMJFL has created an under 8 girls competition in 2026, with 8 teams registered. This is a major development for Girls and Women's football, with a complete pathway now finally in place from Auskick to Seniors.
On Sunday evening we held an information session for interested under 8 girls. It was very well attended and we believe we now have enough girls to register a team. They will play their first game in Round 5.
The Baby Sharks (nickname created by the parents) will be having their first training session this Thursday from 4.30-5.30pm at Beauy Secondary. The U16 Girls will be helping them learn the song post training.
A BIG shout out to our Junior VP - Simon Gavin who has put in a mountain of work to get this team up and running.
